Christian Burgess and his Sleaford Cricket Club 1st XI teammates went down by 68 runs in their Lincolnshire County Board Premier League match against Woodhall Spa Cricket Club.
Sleaford won the toss and elected to bowl, Woodhall scored 223/9 in their allotted 50 overs. Matthew Sargeant was the top scorer with 65.
In reply Sleaford could only manage 155/8, Burgess batting at number 3 scored four runs, he hit one boundary in his 18 ball stay at the wicket. Andy Hibberd was the top scorer with 62.
