The Bermuda School Sports Federation held the Middle School Badminton Tournament at the Warwick Academy School Gymnasium.
Joshua Thorne from Warwick Academy capped an undefeated day with a 15-8 victory in the Under 13 Final over school mate Taylor Karrick. Thorne had defeated another Warwick player, Scott Redmond 11-5 in their Semi-Finals. Karrick defeated MSA's Blake Horseman 11- 4 in the other Semi-Final.
Thorne joined Redmond to win the Under 13 Doubles tournament over MSAs Horseman and Ryan Lopes 16-14. The Warwick team defeated Saltus1 11-6 in the Semi-Final, while Lopes and Horseman defeated Warwick Academy Two 11-9 in the other Semi-Final.
Warwick's William Gray was also undefeated after defeating John Ewles from Saltus 15-8 in the Final. Gray defeated Warwick Academy teammate Dylan Pratt 11-5 in the Semi-Final, while Ewles defeated Warwick's Benjamin Barnett 11-8 in the other Semi-Final.
Warwick capped their dominance on the day when the team of Pratt and Gray defeated Barnett and Brady Cordeiro 15-11 in an all Warwick Final. Pratt and Gray defeated the MSA team of Colin Zuill and Tristan Rocha 11-9 in the Semi-Final while Barnett and Cordeiro defeated the other MSA team of Billy Montgomery and Kristopher Lewis 11-6 in their Semi-Final.
