www.islandstats.com sent the President of the Bermuda Gymnastics Association Peter James a few question in an attempt to get some clarification on this issue involving 13 year old Bermuda Gymnast Sadia Wilson.
1. If the family was asked to pay for Sadia’s coach to attend and permission was granted by the Event Committee, why is it now a problem? 2. When was the decision made to pull Sadia from the competition? 3. Is there still an opportunity for this matter to be resolved as I personally am concerned that a Bermuda athlete is being denied an opportunity to represent her Country because of someone’s concern about integrating someone unfamiliar with the association’s set-up could have been detrimental to the team’s unity and harmony?
Mr. James has responded stating, please see the attached press release regarding Sadia Wilson’s participation in the upcoming Pan Am junior Olympic qualifier.
This is the official response from the Bermuda Gymnastics Association. Any other communication regarding the matter has not been authorized by our management committee and should not be treated as reliable.

After giving you the public the opportunity to read the reply, www.islandstats.com will release the email trial revealing what dates the President himself emailed and got permission for the UK coach to attend the games.
