A Bermudian film crew have Huddersfield Town and Nahki Wells under the spotlight as they prepare to tackle Wigan Athletic at the John Smith’s Stadium, writes Mel Booth from The Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
www.islandstats.com is not sure which Bermudian film crew is there, however they should have Googled a few things about Huddersfield, the manager and the team before interviewing the manager and making Bermudians look incompetent. Record £1.3m signing Nahki Wells was the center of attention, although Town’s full senior squad were on the training ground at PPG Canalside.
Huddersfield manager Mark Robins, summed up the positive mood in the camp when explaining, “It was interesting having the Bermudian film crew here. “The first question I got asked was ‘did you used to play?!”
With today’s technology anyone who Googled Huddersfield manager Mark Robins they would have found out Robins after starting his career with Manchester United, he went on to play in the Premier League for Norwich City and Leicester City before playing in the Football League with Reading, Manchester City, Walsall, Rotherham United, Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday and in Europe with FC Copenhagen, C.D. Ourense and Panionios. He finished his career in the Conference National with Burton Albion, and was capped 6 times by England U21. In 2007 he became manager of Rotherham United, and joined Barnsley in the same capacity in 2009, before leaving in 2011, following differences between him and the board.
Whomever the crew is before you ask another question, may I suggest that you goggle the people first before hand.
