We recently brought you the interviews from the LF Wade International Airport when Jermal Woolridge and Garon Wilkinson arrived back in the Bermuda.
Today you get a chance to watch Woolridge score his 1st Round Knock-Out over Rodrigo Reis of Brazil during the 1st Brazil International Wushu Championships, Reis went into the fight undefeated at 9-0.
Woolridge landed a huge overhand right, with his opponent hitting the canvas hard, he tried to get up but legs were like jelly forcing the ring judge to call a halt to the fight.
Wilkinson competed for two days in a row at the 2013 World Games being held in Cali, Colombia.
Wilkinson scored 8.85 for Daoshu (Broadsword) and 8.75 in Gunshu (Staff) to finish with a combined score of 17.6 for the Daoshu/Gunshu Combined Division, finishing in 11th place. The top 3 places in the Daoshu/Gunshu Division went to China, Vietnam and Malaysia respectively.
