Digicel Bermuda CEO Wayne Caines and Ryan Nesbitt the Corporate Sales Executive went to battle in a Digicel Basketball Challenge at the Parson Road Basketball Court.
The Challenge was to see which player would score 11 points first, when the game started the numbers were reduced to 8 and then as it went on the figure was agreed the first to five.
Caines was the first to score, but Nesbitt would level the score at one each a few minutes later, it then took a while for the next bucket to be scored and it was Caines who would drain a jumper.
Caines would score the next two baskets to lead 4 – 1 and only needing one more struggled with a back injury.
Nesbitt saw his opportunity and scored the next three baskets which took quite some time to level things at 4-4.
The next basket would determine the challenge winner, both players had chances to win, but in the end it was Nesbitt scoring to earn the win and the respect of his CEO Caines.
