At the 49th IAMA Tournament at Somerset New Jersey's Ukranian Cultural Center Somerset, Bermuda's Kent Bean, finished third in Empty Hand and First in Weapons Forms.
Because there were no Junior competitors in his rank and age group, Bean entered the 20 years and up for forms.
The Weapons Category was open to all Age Groups and had six entrants. Bean teaches at the Kai Yun Shaolin Academy.
Skipper Ingham demonstrated his signature Breathing Form to Open the competition, as promoter Gary Alexander requested that he perform rather than compete in the over 40 Division.
