Jeneko Place has been pulled from the 2012 Carifta Games having not fully recovered from his hamstring injury he sustained at the National Sports Center.
It was back on February 26th during the Telford Mile the Bermuda Track and Field Association held two events, when the gun went off for the start of the Under 20 Boys 200m race, the former Male Junior Athlete of the Year Place pulled up grabbing his right hamstring.
Place has struggled to find the form since the injury and Devon Bean confirmed minutes after the opening Ceremony that he will not take part in the Games.
