The 3rd Annual Bermuda Bacardi Par 3 National Championships concluded at the Fairmont Southampton Golf Course where Ian Doig became Champion.
However the biggest talk of the tournament was the two Hole In One’s recorded on the first day.
Doug Hines scored his Hole In One on the tough number 13 however, it was UK resident Tom Bayliss who walked away with the car after he made his Hole In One on the longest hole on the course number 5.
Bayliss struck a brilliant 3 wood that rolled right into the cup and earned him a brand new Chevrolet, Spark Plus car from Rayclan.
Bayliss speaking at the presentation said, “I love this and I will come here again, it’s not every day you hole a three wood from 220 yards, so I am looking forward to next year.”
