In his 28th career start on the eGolf Tour, dating back to the 2010 season, David May of Auburn, NY posted rounds of 72-64-66-65—267 at the Irish Creek Classic to capture his first tour title and the $28,000 first-place prize.
Michael Sims of Bermuda and Lanto Griffin of Blacksburg finished T4 at 14-under 271 earned $8,205 each.
Sims shot a Final Round 4-under Par 67, to improve his position on the Leaderboard from T10th moving up six places.
Sims started out on the Front Nine, with back to back Birdies, Sims then had a Bogey on the par three third hole, which was then followed by back o back Birdies. Sims closed out his first nine holes with three consecutive Pars to make the turn at -3.
On the Back Nine, Sims hit eight consecutive Pars before closing out his round with a Birdie on the par 3 eighteenth for his fourth place finish.
