A small number of martial artists of various ages treated an enthusiastic crowd of family, friends and supporters to a fast paced competition at Pembroke Sunday School during Sensei Roots' 17th Invitational Tournament.
Grand Champions for forms were Shaun Prinsloo in the Novice Division, Cainan Tucker in the Boy’s Intermediate Division and Priya Phillips in the Girls Intermediate Division.
Kent Bean continued to demonstrate superior form in both Empty Hand and Weapon, winning both Divisions uncontested.
Andrea McKey had the same result in the Women's Advanced Division. Sparring winners in contested divisions were Tayah Smith in the Girls 6-9 Age Group and Anzar Talbot in the Boys 10-11 Age Group.
