Experiential marketing firm, The Que Agency (TQA), has announced a new partnership for Hope4Life that will allow viewers and fans of the Amazing Race to feel the love that Bermuda has to offer.
Alongside Amazing Race host - Phil Keoghan, former professional soccer player - David Bascome, and his Hope4Life Foundation worked with Bermuda’s Ministry of National Security to make this once-in-a-lifetime adventure take place in 2012.
“This was an opportunity that only seemed right for Bermuda,” said Quency Phillips, CEO of The Que Agency and Fuzion Athlete Management. “After listening to Phil Keoghan’s goals and objectives, Bermuda made perfect sense. Working with Bascome and a few others made this a dream that would ultimately come true through the children of Bermuda.”
The contest will kick off on October 6, 2011 through Europa Sports and Shubox, Inc, as well as announcements from Phil Keoghan, NOW Energy Bar, Hope4Life and The Que Agency. The season-long contest will run through CBS Interactive, Europa Sports, Phil Keoghan and more, with NOWAdventure.com being the online home for the contest.
With winners heading to Bermuda for a 6 day, 5 night adventure, winners will compete in an Amazing Race-like experience led by Keoghan, Bascome, and Minister Wayne Perinchief.
This experience will include Hope4Life youth as guides, hosts and more for the contest winners, who will race around the island similar to CBS’ Amazing Race franchise television show. Winners will also get a chance to ride with Phil Keoghan’s Cycling team during their trip to Bermuda.
More importantly, a strategic partnership with the Multiple Sclerosis Society will allow for a team (based on fundraising goals for multiple sclerosis) to travel to Bermuda and also compete in the Ultimate NOW Adventure. Larger plans between Keoghan and Bermuda’s MS Society are underway.
“This shows the types of opportunities that I want my people of Bermuda to experience,” said Bascome, Founder of Hope4Life. “To have Hope4Life and our youth playing a key role in this experience is hard to put into words. I am grateful for Keoghan, NOW Energy Bar, Europa, The Que Agency and all of those that made this possible. Bermuda will be on display to show exactly who we are as a people.”
“This is a win/win on all fronts… Bermuda is showcased to the world, our young people will show how proud they are of their Island and most importantly, those same young people and their peers will see the benefit of positive life choices,” said Wayne Perinchief of Bermuda’s Minister of National Security. “These partnerships are invaluable and of great benefit to Bermuda.”
