One Communications and the Bermuda Cricket Board did not announce a One Communications Premier Division ‘Player of the Week’, but the big news out of the release for this week is that it would appear that St. David’s Cricket Club have lost their appeal for the match that was not played at Sea Breeze Oval due to a wet pitch.
St. David’s appeal was based on the fact that insufficient covers were used, thus Bailey’s Bay did not have the field prepared, but as the standing show the match has been ruled a no result, leaving the defending champions St. David’s Cricket Club 10 points behind leaders Southampton Rangers with one game to play.

Taking on Hungary, Bermuda had the ball with less than a minute left on offense, and the game was tied 6-6, but Hungary’s goalie, Johnathan Yen, got the ball, heaved it the length of the field, and they scored the game winner 1-on-1 vs the Bermuda goalie with 16 seconds left to win the game in regulation.
