The Bermuda Triathlon Association has announced that the 2020 Thursday Super Sprint Triathlon Season is about to get underway.
The Super Sprint Series are ultra-informal races open to all, ideally suited for those new to triathlon. Distances are short, taking no more than around 30 mins to complete. Swimming is in the shallow part of the Bay, with cycling on the quiet airport road and running around the trails of Cooper’s Island.
As in years previous, the event held at Clearwater Beach has two distances.
The Long Course will see competitors complete a 200m Swim, 3 Lap Bike Loops, and 2 Lap Run Loops.
The Short Course consists of a 100m Swim, 2 Lap Bike Loops, and 1 Lap Run Loop.
Racing begins at 6:30 pm each Thursday.
