 Daniel Phillips run in the Rafa Nadal Tour Under 14 Tennis Tournament Main Draw in Barcelona has become the talk of the event.
Phillips has advanced to the Final following his Semi-Final performance, which was a straight sets win over Mateo Alvarez Sarmiento.
Phillips has previously defeated #14 seed Bernardo Munk Mesa, #4 seed Danil Mishchani and #6 seed Iker Sevilla Perez on his way to the Final.
Phillips in defeating Sarmiento won 6-2, 6-1, Phillips will now face off against the tournament #9 seed Miguel Avendaño Cadena for the title.
Said said, “Many of the people have been noticing me and talking about me. I stay humble and focused on why I am here and what I have to do on and off the court. Right now I’m tired. With rest, I’ll be ready for tomorrow’s Final."
