For a second day in a row Bermudian Patrick Nisbett has won the LONGINES FEI World Cup China International League Leg 2 Jumping Competition 1.45m Against The Clock Class.
Nisbett riding A Termie clocked a Clear Round time of 65.77, with Ben Maher from Great Britain riding Wavanta finished second with a Clear Round time of 65.84 and China’s Zhiwen Zhao finished third clocking a Clear Round time 66.68.
Speaking with www.islandstats.com Nisbett said, "I only rode the horse for one day before the competition so I did not have much time to get to know him but we worked well together. The Chinese have the advantage of riding their own horses but things have worked out better for me"
The competition sees foreign riders on borrowed horses due to quarantine rules in China.
The other foreigners are Maher - London Olympics Gold Medalist, Laura Renwick – Great Britain #1 Female, Cameron Hanley - 4th 2009 European Championships and Elad Yaniv - 2x World Championship Participant.
