Allan Douglas has been reported for a suspected illegal bowling action under the ICC Regulations for the Review of Bowlers Reported with Suspected Illegal Bowling Actions following his side’s match against Singapore during Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3 in Malaysia on Monday.
The match officials’ report, which was handed over to Bermuda team manager Lionel Tannock on Tuesday, cited concerns regarding the majority of his deliveries, and concluded that the bowler’s action needed to be tested.
The player is required to submit to a Home Board Analysis of his bowling action, and his Home Board must provide the ICC with a written report of the outcome of the analysis within 21 days.
Throughout the period of the assessment, the player is permitted to continue bowling in international cricket. During this period, should further reports be made against him, the reports will have no consequence.
