The Opening Ceremony of the 2019 Pan American Games took place at the Estadio Nacional del Perú in Lima, Peru.
Traditional features such as the parade of nations including Bermuda and the lighting of the Pan Am cauldron was held as part of the ceremony.
Bermuda were led out by Olympic Sailor Ceci Wollmann, Wollman will compete in Sailing with her brother Michael.
Fans watched a bit of history as this was more than likely the final time that a Bermuda team enter in a major competition wearing the traditional Red and Blue as the new national colors are Pink and Blue.
