Bermuda Fall in Women's World Cup Qualifier Opener

Jamaica secured three points in their first match of Group C opener in the first round of the 2023 Concacaf Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, defeating a very tough Bermuda side 4 - 0.

Bermuda Starting Line-Up: Micah Pond, Danni Watson, Jenna Rempel, Victoria Davis, Koa Goodchild, Aaliyah Nolan, Eva Frazzoni, Nia Christopher, Jaden Masters, Leilanni Nesbeth, K'Shaela Burch-Waldron.

Jody Brown gave Jamaica the lead in the 21st minute, with Trudi Carter doubling the advantage to 2 - 0 in the 30th minute.

Bermuda stood strong holding off the much stronger Jamaican team until the 82nd minute when star striker Khadija Shaw scored, Shaw would score again in stoppage time to make the final score 4 – 0.
