Yesterday www.islandstats.com reported that the Organizing Committee (OC) of the Americas Olympic and Paralympic Continental Qualification Regatta conform with the World Rowing requirements for 2021 regattas, and has therefore confirmed that the regatta will take place from March 4th to 6th, 2021 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
After speaking with Bermuda Olympic Rowing Hopeful Dara Alizadeh, following the announcement yesterday morning, we decided to wait until after the World Rowing’s Video Conference Call for Member Federations.
The Video Conference Call is an opportunity for representatives to ask any questions relating to the Americas Olympic and Paralympic Continental Qualification Regatta.
We will be joined by Alizadeh at 1:00 pm to discuss his concerns and others about traveling to Brazil.
