NAHKI WELLS

Luke Ayling’s first-half goal was enough to sink Nahki Wells and Bristol City at a wet and windy Elland Road, as the host’s capitalized on a dominant first-half display.

The former Bristol City right-back returned to haunt his former club, providing the finishing touch after a melee of blocked shots inside the 16th minute.

City improved in the second half though and even had calls for a penalty dismissed.

Wells went closest to equalizing with a shot which sailed narrowly off target.

NATHAN TROTT

Nathan Trott was an unused substitute as his AFC Wimbledon teammates earned a last-gasp point at Rotherham with a penalty by Kwesi Appiah denying the league leaders.

JONTE SMITH

Jonte Smith was not part of the Cheltenham Town team that came from behind and defeated Leyton Orient 2 – 1. Leyton Orient took the lead in the 17th minute when Conor Wilkinson scored, one minute later the scores were level as Alfie May scored, in the 88th minute Reuben Reid scored a header from close range to earn Cheltenham the win.

REGGIE LAMBE

Reggie Lambe was an unused substitute as Cambridge United came from behind to defeat Bradford City 2 – 1. Jake Reeves gave Bradford City the lead in the 17th minute, but Cambridge United equalized in the 84th minute when Harry Darling scored. In stoppage time Harvey Knibbs’ right footed shot from the left side of the six yard box flew into the bottom right corner to give them the lead and the win.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Butterfield and his Kidderminster teammates travelled to Gateshead Football Clubs, International Stadium and earned a solid point and another clean sheet, the match saw both sides having had chances to win, but they settled for a 0-0 draw.

JUSTIN DONAWA

Justin Donawa and his Darlington teammates match against Leamington Football Club was postponed. The postponement was as a fact of taking into consideration heavy rain and minimum 40mph winds the safety issues associated with such conditions and guidance from the league the match.

AMAR LEWIS

Amar Lewis and his Harlow Town teammates Isthmian League match away to South Park FC was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
