Mexico 2 Bermuda 1
Team Bermuda held a walk through at Estadio Nemesio Diez this morning in preparation for the Nations League match.

Before the match started, there was a minute of applause in the memory of Jorge Vergara Madrigal who owned the football club C.D. Guadalajara.
Bermuda took the lead in the 10th minute when captain Dante Leverock rose highest to head in a corner from Osagi Bascome.
Minutes later Dale Eve did well diving to his right to deny a Mexican equalizer.
In the 26th minute with Bermuda still leading 1-0, Nahki wells was robbed just as it looked as if he was going to double the lead, Mexico went straight up the field and got the equalizer with a powerful left footed drive from Sebastián Córdova.
Mexico resorted to long range shots looking to beat Eve from a distance on several occasions. In the first half, Mexico had taken 15 shots, while Bermuda had two.
Bermuda spent most of the start of the second half defending, but Justin Donawa came close to doubling the lead when his shot from close range went wide following a pass from Nahki Wells.
In the 75th minute Eve made a remarkable point blank save to deny substitute Raul Jimenez from giving Mexico the lead.
In the fourth minute of stoppage time Mexico ended Bermuda’s dreams of staying in Group A when Uriel Antuna was able to get on the end of a cross and beat Eve to give them a 2 – 1 lead and the win.
