Bermuda coach Kyle Lightbourne threw down the gauntlet during the CONCACAF Gold Cup Press Conference for match Day Two when asked if Bermuda will sit back and allow Costa Rica to attack.
Lightbourne responded, ‘I watched Mexico play Cuba, Cuba sat back and they loss 7 – 0, so I might as well try to attack and win.”
The Bermuda team held a walk through session earlier in the day at the Toyota Stadium, before heading over to the training facility for a light training session.
Bermuda striker Nahki Wells responding to how he is handling the heat said, “This is not the norm for me, but the team has adjusted well, the sports science people are working hard to give us all the information required, the good thing is that Costa Rica have to deal with the same thing.”
