 Bermuda’s Under 14 Boys team of Antonio Warner, Bobby Bart and Mackai Whitter continued competing in the ITF World Team Junior Tennis Competition in Santo Domingo.
The Bermuda team are in the Main Draw and they would take on Jamaica going down 2 – 1.
Jamaica would go ahead 1 – 0 when Delano Reeves defeated Warner in straight sets 7-5, 6-4 in a one hour and thirty-five minute battle.
Whitter would level the match at 1 – 1 when he battled Daniel Azar for over two hours needing a tie-breaker in the third set to win 3-6, 6-4, 11-9.
The Doubles match would decide the winner with Bart and Whitter taking on Jairdan Gibbs and Reeves and they would go down in a one hour battle 6-1, 6-3.
