NAHKI WELLS
Three second-half goals saw Brentford keep up their impressive recent home record and inflict a comprehensive west London derby defeat on Nahki Wells and his Queens Park Rangers teammates at Griffin Park.
JONTE SMITH
Jonte Smith was an unused substitute as his Oxford United teammates season continues to gather momentum at just the right time. Last week the first away win, this week their first back-to-back wins of the season. Two headers from Jerome Sinclair, his first goals for the club, earned them a 2-1 win over Scunthorpe United at the Kassam Stadium that kept them moving in the right direction away from the bottom four, despite George Thomas's injury time consolation for the visitors.
REGGIE LAMBE
Reggie Lambe and his Cambridge United teammates produced a near faultless away display as they dispatched Grimsby Town 2-0 at Blundell Park in Sky Bet League Two.
A late first half header from George Taft and a neat slotted finish by Rushian Hepburn-Murphy earned United a precious victory which moved them nine points clear of the bottom two.
