Nahki Wells was an unused substitute as his Burnley teammates made it five successive top flight wins for the first time in half a century as the prospect of European football at Turf Moor next season drew ever closer following a 2-1 victory over Leicester.
It is more than 50 years since Burnley have been involved in a continental competition but their 2-1 victory over closest rivals Leicester gave them a nine-point advantage with only five games left. Provided Southampton do not win the FA Cup, seventh place would be enough for a spot in the Europa League.
REGGIE LAMBE
Reggie Lambe and his Carlisle United teammates second away trip in a fortnight was the short journey to the Globe Arena to face 'local' rivals Morecambe.
Lambe was an unused substitute as Carlisle extended their good run to just one defeat in eleven games but it ultimately became a frustrating afternoon as they failed to turn territorial dominance into three points.
WILLIE CLEMONS
Willie Clemons and his Bodens BK teammates got a dream start on derby against IFK Luleå and led 2-0 after 28 minutes when Jack Serrant-Green had answered for both goals. But two pretty simple goals from the IFK striker Tetteh Komey before the break meant that the team split the score 2 - 2.
Clemons who was yellow carded in the match was involved early in the second half as his pass set off Arish Nouri who could not put his shot on target.
DANTE LEVEROCK
Dante Leverock and his JK Navra Trans teammates played to a 1 – 1 draw with Tammeka.
Playing away from home JK Navra Trans went in front in the 41st minute when Dmitri Barkov, but the host would draw level with a goal in the 85th minute when Kaspar Paur scored.
