Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres missed out on securing a spot in next month's ISU Grand Prix Final of Figure Skating in Nagoya, Japan.
This after the pair representing France finished 7th on the ISU Senior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Circuit.
The ISU Senior Grand Prix had a series hosts six stops: Russia (Rostelecom Cup), Canada (Skate Canada International), China (Cup of China) and Japan (NHK Trophy), France (Internationaux de France), and the United States (Skate America).
Skaters are awarded points based on their placements at their assigned two events and the top six in each of the four disciplines advance to the Final.
Only the top six advance to the Final which will take place in Nagoya, Japan from December 6th – 10th, 2017
At the conclusion of the Series Cipres said, “We are both sorry for not Qualifying for the final . We did our best to go. Thank you to all of you. We going to keep going and keep working hard for European, Olympics, and World... Congratulation to the top 6 skaters ahead of us.”
