Jessica and Lorri Cooper Lewis pay’s tribute to Jessica's coach who passed away while on a Business Trip.
Jessica Lewis said, “Coach Ken...where do I even begin.
Your heart was as big as your personality and I can't even begin to explain how much you impacted my life as well as countless others. Your guidance, support and encouragement meant the world to me on and off the track and I would not be the athlete I am let alone person I am today without you.
Your passion for giving to and helping others was undeniably the most amazing thing. You never left anyone behind and did everything in your power ...and more to help someone.
Your spirit will live on in all the athletes you coached, the people you loved and the people's who's lives were made better because of you.
Even though our journey together was cut short it is one that I will cherish forever. Along with your incredible words of encouragement.
To your family, my biggest and most heartfelt condolences. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful person with so many people. He was certainly 1 in a million.
Thank you Ken for believing in me and giving me the privilege of being your athlete. Thank you for all the great times, laughs and memories. You have changed my life and I will forever be grateful for that and the opportunities you have given me. I promise to keep Going Fast and Turning Left in your honour.

In a facebook messages Cooper Lewis writes, “There are no words to describe the devastating loss of this amazing man, Ken Thom Ken, you were, and will continue to be, an incredible part of many lives. You gave so much of your time, knowledge and energy to so many people. You took Jessica Lewis and our family on the most amazing journey thru track racing. Thank you for all that you did so selflessly. We have incredible memories that we will hold close to our hearts. I know that saying RIP is crazy for you as I'm sure you are still 'going fast and turning left'!”
