It was just over a week ago that Nahki Wells signed a three year contract with Burnley.
Due to the International break last weekend and scheduling www.islandstats.com was unable to speak with Burnley manager Sean Dyche until today.
Dyche said, “I have been following Wells for a number of years and the time was right to bring him into the club.”
“We don’t plan to rush him back from his surgery, we want to make sure he is fully fit before we introduce him to Premier Division Football, we will not put a timeframe on when he will play,” concluded Dyche.
