Working with media out of Canada suggested that a Bermuda Cricket team were due to fly to Canada to play a few matches, but nothing has been announced by the Bermuda Cricket Board.
www.islandstats.com can confirm that a team has been selected to represent Bermuda and departed Sunday Morning September 3rd.
The Bermuda team is scheduled to play three games against Canada High Performance XI.
Attempts to speak with the National Coach Clay Smith before the team departed went unsuccessful in a bid to get a team, however www.islandstats.com was able to obtain a team that was travelling.
This behavior from the board leads to many questions, but it would seem as if they are not prepared to answer anything nor do they want to be asked any questions.
www.islandstats.com will keep you informed when we get an update and not just a press release when the board remembers or decides to put out a release stating the team, that has already been done!
