Members of the Bermuda Youth Commonwealth Games team have seen action on Day One of competition.
The Bermuda Team have picked up Medals on the Day.
Matthew Oliviera won the Boy Cycling Time Trial while Alyssa Rowse won the Bronze Medal in the Girls Time Trial. Kaden Hopkins finished 6th in the Boy’s race.
In their opening game of the Women’s Rugby 7’s Bermuda went down to Australia 60 – 0, the Bermuda Girls then went down 58 – 0 in their second game against Wales.
Jesse Washington has Qualified for the Boy's 50m Butterfly Final after finishing 2nd in Heat 5 stopping the clock in a time of 25.22. Madelyn Moore finished 4th in Heat 3 of the Girl's 50m Butterfly, her time did not see her advance.
Moore finished 8th in Heat 1 of the Girl's 100m Backstroke touching the wall in a time of 1:08.79.
