 Tyler Smith and Erica Hawley competed in the 2017 Holten ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup in the Netherlands.
Smith finished 25th with a time of 58:46, while Hawley finishing 27th with a time of 1:07:41.
Smith clocked a Swimming time of 8:27, which was followed by a Bike course time of 29:21 and he finished out with a time of 18:23 on the Run Course.
Hawley clocked 9:56 on the Swim, and then 34:54 on the Bike course and then 20:14 on the Run course.
Hawley still struggling with her injury following a bike accident a few weeks ago had some issues in race, Hawley’s shoulder has not healed at all and it hurt a lot in the swim.
Hawley’s swim was not as strong as usual at all, which was followed by a mechanical on the bike when her bike and the gears jammed and stuck on her hardest gear. This created big problems at the hill on the bike, however she finished with a great run so she is happy with that.
