Nahki Wells and his Huddersfield teammates boosted their promotion hopes by beating QPR 2-1 at Loftus Road.
The West Yorkshire side took control with first-half goals from Izzy Brown and Wells. Substitute Luke Freeman netted on the hour mark with his first Rangers goal, but the visitors held on for a fourth consecutive league win and their first ever at Loftus Road.
The impressive Wells scored what would prove to be the winner, rifling a right-footed shot into the far corner from right-hand side of the penalty area.
RAI SIMONS
Rai Simons was an unused substitute as his struggling Chesterfield teammates went down 3 - 1 to Northampton.
REGGIE LAMBE
Blackpool secured an impressive 4-1 victory over Reggie Lambe’s third-placed Carlisle in League Two.
Lambe was an unused substitute as Brad Potts and Jordan Flores struck for the visitors before Jabo Ibehre pulled a goal back for Carlisle.
JONTE SMITH
Jonte Smith and his Lewes teammates pulled out their best performance of the season to beat an in-form Cray Wanderers team 3 - 1 in a highly entertaining game on a heavy pitch and move into the Play-off spots.
Smith did not get on the scoresheet, but Lewes was able to get the points needed.
ROGER LEE
A good team display from Roger Lee and his Loughborough Dynamo brought three valuable points in a 2-0 home win over Chasetown FC, and took Dynamo out of the relegation places.
