Bermuda’s Men’s and Ladies National Teams have taken to the field to compete in the annual 2016 RAN Sevens, in the four games between the two team Bermuda scored 19 points but gave up 130 points.
It would be worrying time for the sport as the print media have come under fire of late for the headlines they have had for youth sporting events in other sports, so many are wondering if the same treatment would be given for the following games.
Bermuda’s Women’s team went down 52 - 0 to Canada, while the Men got off to a winning 19 - 5 start against British Virgin Islands.
The Bermuda Women’s team went down 21 - 0 to Jamaica in their second game, while the Bermuda Men fell 52 - 0 to Canada in their second game.
