Bermuda’s number one seeded Ladies Tennis player Tyler Smith won her second round Singles but went down in her Quarter-Finals match and Doubles match during the TIHTA ITF Junior Tennis Tournament in Aruba.
Smith defeated Maria Colorado Zavala from Mexico in straight sets during her second round 6-1, 6-0, but she went down in her Quarter-Final match in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 to Madison Bourguignon from the United States.
In Smith’s third match of the day she teamed up with Madrie Le Roux from South Africa in their Ladies Doubles Quarter-Final match and they defeated Lauren Proctor and Taylor Shukow both from the United States and in three sets.
Smith and Le Roux won the first set 6-3, but the pair went down 6-3 in the second set. Smith and Le Roux then won the third and final set 10-7.
