Seven Bermuda Bicycle Association riders departed Bermuda this afternoon heading to Killington, Vermont in a bid to qualify for International competition.
The seven will take part in the Killington Stage Race which gets underway on May 26th – 28th.
2012 Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race Champion Dominique Mayho, runner up Mark Hatherley and 2011 Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race Champion Darren Glasford will all compete in the Cat 3 Division.
The Bermuda Bicycle Association has revised the way riders can qualify to participate in International competition and the riders will use this event to start thing off.
2012 Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race Women’s runner up Nicole Mitchell will compete in the Women’s 1-2 Division, while Chequan Richardson and Ricky Smith will compete in the Cat 4 Division and Heather Roque is set to take part in the Women’s Cat 4 Division.
