It's Official the Kirklands are in the Olympics

Brothers Jesse and Zander Kirkland have confirmed that they have qualified Bermuda a spot in the 2012 Olympics in the 49er Fleet.

This came after the brothers advanced to the Gold Fleet during the SEIKO 49er World Championship in Zadar, Croatia.

The Kirkland’s ended the third day by leaping 9 places up the leaderboard, they are now in 8th place overall with 44 Net Points.

The Kirkland’s finished 2nd in the first race of the day, before finishing third in race two and then they finished 7th in the third and final race of the day.

The Kirkland’s during the 49er World Championships have recorded 7 top 10 finishes in the nine races sailed thus far.
