Michael Sims finished his First Round shooting a 4-over par 76 during the eGolf Tours third annual The Championship at St. James Plantation, Sims bounced back to shoot a 1-under par 71 to make the cut to end the day T43rd.
Sims started out with a Birdie on the First Hole, which was followed by two consecutive Pars, Sims had his second Birdie on the par 5 fourth, following a Par Sims shot an Eagle on the par 4 sixth to move to 4-under par after six holes, Sims finished his Front Nine with Bogey, Birdie and Double Bogey to make the turn at 2-under Par.
On the Back Nine, as Sims started out with a Par, before recording a Bogey on the par 5 eleventh, Sims then finished his round with seven consecutive Pars to finish at 1-under par.
