Through 54 holes of the eGolf Tours Irish Creek Classic, Mitchell Krywulycz of Australia and Kevin Foley of Somerville, NJ sit tied atop the leaderboard at 13-under 201. One player is looking for his first win on any level in almost four years, while the other is looking to win for the first time in roughly six days.
The Irish Creek Classic is the fourth of 24 scheduled events on the 2012 eGolf Tour schedule, and is being contested this week at both The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, NC and Cabarrus Country Club in Concord, NC.
Sims continued to move up the leaderboard as her finished his Third Round shooting a 5-under par 66 to finish T10th.
Sims began on the Front Nine with four consecutive Pars, before he had back to back Birdies, Sims recorded a Par on the seventh and then closed out with Birdies on the eighth and ninth holes to make the turn at 4-under par.
On the Back Nine Sims started out with a Birdie, which was then followed by five Pars, Sims then had a Birdie on the par 4 sixteenth before recording a Par on the seventeenth and then his one and only Bogey in his round on the eighteenth.
