Tyrone Smith finished second at the 2nd Big Kuldliiga Indoor Series Track Meet in TARTU, Estonia.
Competing in his third Long Jump Indoor event in less than a week Smith leaped to a Bermudian Indoor Record of 7.82m.
Smith leaped 7.60m on his first attempt, he then reached 7.66m on his second attempt. Following a Foul on his third attempt Smith leaped 7.54m on his fourth attempt, another foul followed before his record setting leap on his sixth and final attempt.
Elvijs Misans from Latvia won the Men’s event with a top leap of 7.87m, Tonis Sahk from Zimbabwe finished third with a top leap of 7.53m.
