Nahki Wells and his Queens Park Rangers teammates have recorded their first away win of their Sky Bet Championship season after securing a 2-1 victory against Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Reggie Lambe and his Cambridge United teammates were put to the sword by a clinical Colchester United who ran away 3-0 winners in Sky Bet League Two.

Brangman Forced to Withdraw From Games

The World Equestrian Games got underway under a cloud of controversy in the Endurance Race.

Bermuda’s Marvin Brangman withdrew his horse after a lengthy delay due to an official error.

Speaking exclusively to www.islandstats.com, Brangman said, “After 20 miles we were looking pretty good even getting great vet scores at first inspection. Then we learned that the officials for Endurance made a huge screw-up at the start by sending some of the riders the wrong way too soon and the rest of the riders a different way causing major conflict it was a complete mess.”

Brangman went on to say, “They decided to start the race over so we had to wait for two hours for everyone to complete the first loop during that time we noticed behavioral changes in the horse. Unfortunately we decided to retire her.”

“After having her checked out by the vets we discovered increase in muscle enzymes that caused cramping and tightness,” continued Brangman.

Brangman continued, “After minimal treatment she was released from the vet clinic in good condition she’s currently in her stall happily eating and drinking. Turned out to be a good call by Lori Shifflitt could’ve turned out to be much worse.”

Brangman concluded, “There’s still a whole lot of protests and drama going on concerning the false start so we will see what the end result will be between today and tomorrow.”
