Liam Flannery and Alexander Miller were among the Junior Men competing in the Individual Time Trial as the International Cycling Union (UCI) Road World Championships continued.
Gustav Wang from Denmark scorched to victory in the Junior Men’s Time Trial at the UCI Road World Championships, beating Joshua Tarling from Great Britain to the Gold Medal by 20 seconds on the 22.3km course.
The riders started on the starting ramp on the North Sea beach, after a passage of 1.5 km over the seafront dike and a passage in the center of Knokke-Heist, they headed inland. Via the picturesque town of Damme, the course made its way towards the art city of Bruges and the finish on 't Zand.
Flannery finished 55th with a time of 28:07, while Miller was 66th stopping the clock in a time of 28:46.
