Geri Mewett is the 2008 RMS Construction National Road Race Male Champion, having broken away with Garth Thomson from the other competitors early in the race and then escaped from Thomson on the last lap.
The 2008 RMS Construction National Road Race Female Championship was won by Karen Bordage as she avoided a crash in the sprint finish that took down defending champion Deanna McMullen as well as Karen Smith along with Male Intermediate rider Kevin Topple.
The Men's Intermediate race was won by Mark Lombardi, just ahead of Philip Woolridge who is going to Curacao to represent Bermuda at the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships.
