Caitlyn Conyers and Conor White captured Bermuda’s 4th & 5th Medals of the Central American and Caribbean Games when they won the Bronze in the Women's Individual Cycling Time Trial, and the Men's Individual Cycling Time Trial.
Conyers clocked a time of 28:35.24 in the Women's Individual Cycling Time Trial, with Arlenis Sierra from Cuba winning Gold, and Diana Penuela from Columbia winning the Silver.
White was clocked across the line in a time of 49:55.11 in the Men's Individual Cycling Time Trial, with Miguel Lopez Moreno from Columbia claiming the Gold, and his fellow countryman Walter Vargas winning the Silver.
Kaden Hopkins would finish 6th clocking a time of 53:05.07.
Conyers said, “I’m really happy to have been on the podium. I didn’t pace my effort perfectly, but it was my favorite international Time Trial course I’ve done!
I’ve had a lot of highs and lows this year, but I’ve had some really good periods of training, and I think being back in Bermuda I was able to reset mentally and doing the National Championships gave me a boost in confidence that I needed.”
