Bermuda had 2 teams from Bicycle Works race in Canada at the summer solstice 24-Hour Relay Mountain Bike race.
A team of 5 women captain Jenn Wilson, Panzy Olander, Laurie Orchard, Karen Bordage, and Jennie Lightbourne finished 1st in the Five Person All Female Team event completing 21 laps in a time of 23:56:45.
A team of 5 men Captain James Holloway, Grant Goudge, Alan Potts, Ian Port (who used to live in Bermuda about 10 years ago) and Andrew Olive finished 3rd in the Five Person Age Group 250 Plus (Avg. 50+) clocking 24:03:00.
