Bermudian Cyclist Nicholas Narraway continued competing on the Tour of America’s Dairylands, however, unfortunately, Caitlin Conyers was still not feeling well enough to compete on the day in Wisconsin.

Narraway competing in the Men’s Pro 1 took to the Maritime Bay Classic Criterium course in downtown Manitowoc reverse of the day before, Narraway finished 24th out of 57 finishers in a time of 1:15:36, while winner Thomas Gibbons clocked a winning time of 1:15:32

Each race has independent registration and race 7 saw a number of new, fresh riders join the mix keeping the pace high throughout the race.

Two riders went off the front early and for the first time in the 7 race series, the riders splintered into several groups. There were two chase groups the first 4 riders followed by a chase of 10 riders than the main peloton.

Many attempts were made by riders to bridge the gaps, but the larger team's tactics made this difficult as they worked to protect their riders ahead.

Narraway said, "I am trying to work on my overall race performance. I love pushing the pace and making breaks forcing others to work hard, but I use a lot of energy doing this but this affects my sprint finishes. So I am trying to find the balance". "Throughout this race, I was in the breaks and made a few unsuccessful attempts to bridge the gap to the leaders".

By the last few laps the race had all come back together leaving a final opportunity for a break, two different riders went off the front and the strung-out peloton was not in a position the catch them leaving them to cross the line just ahead of the peloton.

Narraway concluded, "Overall my finishes are within seconds of the winner, but my placement is not as high as I would like. I know I am capable of top 20, even top 10 finishes. Challenging as an independent rider but I am up for the challenge."
