The Dominican Cycling Federation will host the 42nd edition of the “Vuelta Independencia Nacional”, the leading cycling race that celebrates Dominican Independence Day.
The event will be celebrated under a sanitary bubble to protect all participants including Bermuda’s Kaden Hopkins.
Hopkins was joined by his Puerto Rico teammates as they are in presentation for the first of 7 stages, which will see the competition cover almost 1000 kilometers in seven stages.
Six to eight international teams and around ten Dominican teams could participate this year. The number of international teams in the past has reached 25.
