Dominique Mayho and Caitlin Conyers are in a waiting pattern in Arizona, like many other athletes the Bermuda Cycling couple are just training and waiting to see what happens with COVID-19.
Both Mayho and Conyers began the year with positive results in International competitions, but the bid to compete at a higher level was brought to a halt this month with the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Mayho believes people in the area need to take things a little more seriously, “I see more people out on the trails, because they are working from home they have a little more free time.”
Conyers said in regards to her recent performances and the stoppage, “I am not that frustrated, I felt fitter than I ever and the results were proving that, but I am taking it all in stride.”
Both are hoping to come back to Bermuda to compete in the Sinclair Packwood Memorial race scheduled for May 29th.
