Robinson Chalapud was crowned the Champion of the 40th edition of the National Independence Cycle Tour in the Dominican Republic.
Kaden Hopkins would finish the 98KM Final Stage in 24th place clocking a time of 2:09:11, 43 second behind the Stage winner Sebastian Monroy.
Hopkins would finish 49th overall with a time of 18:38:24, finishing 30:15 behind the overall winner Chalapud.
Chalapud, with a great track record in world cycling that has led him to participate in the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España, finished with a overall time of 18:08:09.
