Some 50 riders took up the challenge of Pedal for Paralympics riding from the Royal Naval Dockyard, Clock Tower and finished at Ferry Reach Park in the East End.
Riders had the pleasure of being joined at the start line by Bermuda Paralympian’s Jessica Lewis, Yushae DeSilva-Andrade and Lewis’ new coach Curtis Thom.
Lewis and Thom then joined riders as they travelled along Kindley Field.
The event was designed to support the Bermuda Paralympic Association to raise funds enabling Bermuda’s elite para-athletes to compete abroad at World Championships, Parapan Am Games and the Paralympics.
James Holloway made it even more special as he departed yesterday, he would camp out overnight, before continuing the journey to Ferry Reach today.
